Yellow Pages Kenya, a business listings company, has revamped its travel website that is aimed at boosting the tourism experience in Kenya.

The improved, dynamic and user friendly website,, is a one stop shop aimed at equipping tourists with the relevant information on different travel destinations in Kenya.

Speaking during the launch, Yellow Pages Managing Director Pedro Gomes stated that the revamped website offers a comprehensive guide on the major tourist attractions, cities and towns in the country as well as details on how to get amenities in these places.

“This website is mobile enabled and will help travelers find out how to get to a particular place in Kenya, get around our towns and cities, discover tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels and key contacts of social amenities,” said Mr Gomes.

He also added that the website seeks to create awareness and unlock untapped tour locations as well as feature the most popular, most talked about and most visited holiday destinations in the tourism circles. The information will be regularly updated to ensure accuracy and reliability at all times.

Yellow Pages Kenya has also partnered with TripAdvisor in order to give its users a platform where they can give feedback and rate the services offered at any of the featured destinations in the country.

The unveiling of the revamped website has come in the wake of a troubled tourism sector occasioned by travel advisories issued against Kenya by traditional source markets citing security concerns as a result of terrorism incidents in recent years.

The website has brought together different stake holders including the Kenya Tourism Board, the hotel industry, National Museums of Kenya and Kenya Wildlife Service among others.

A subsidiary of the international Yellow Pages Brand,Yellow Pages Kenya was established in 1992 and has a wide variety of service in the business arena including travel directories, telephone directories and online listings.

It is an avenue where businesses are connected to businesses and businesses to customers by availing contact information such as websites, email addresses, telephone numbers, branches, physical location, operating hours and acceptable mode of payment among others.
